The Garden, Immersive English Academy is an innovative bilingual academy for children located in Paris. We create a unique learning environment where discovery, experimentation, play, and children's natural initiative are at the core of education.

Since opening in 2016, The Garden Academy offers after-school activities that encourage children to use English across various disciplines such as arts, music, gardening, yoga, practical life activities, STEM, and more. Our goal is to help French nationals acquire English at a young age and promote integration for expatriate families.

Our education team consists of native English speakers and English first language speakers who specialize in positive education. We believe in fostering a balanced and harmonious lifestyle that promotes children's personal development and their connection with the environment. At The Garden Academy, children develop resilience and experience the joy of learning.

**Role Description**

This is an internship role based in Paris for an Admin and Communications Assistant at The Garden, Immersive English Academy. As an Assistant, you will support our team with day-to-day administrative tasks and communications activities. This is an on-site role where you will work closely with our education team to ensure the smooth operation of our academy.

An outline of the tasks, Admin & communication assistant:

- marketing & communications (working on our Newsletters (Canva),
- Website (WordPress)
- sales (Client contacts resulting in potential sales),
- flyer distribution (in person sales pitch)
- managing stock and resources (preparation for projects)
- Company documentation/organising (Google drive/Excel sheets)

**Qualifications**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in writing press releases and creating marketing materials
- Knowledge of strategic communications principles
- Ability to assist with internal communications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
- Experience in the education field is a plus
- Fluency in English and French is preferred
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience using different programs; Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Word, Google Suite, Adobe Premiere Pro, Google AdWords

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From 4.35€ per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- 75015 Paris 15e: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
