**FP&A MANAGER EMEA HQ**

**Purpose statement**

Act as primary business partner in regards to Planning, Management Reporting & Financial Analysis to the EMEA President, EMEA VP Finance, EMEA EHQ Director, BSC Corporate, Central FP&A's and MDIV stakeholders.

**Key responsibilities**
- **Business Partnering and Decision Support** - Act as primary business partner to the President, VP Finance, Director of Finance, MDIV stakeholders and Corporate for all EMEA EHQ Financial Planning and Analysis activities within the Region: Advise in setting appropriately challenging objectives for Regional/Divisional performance; support various modeling scenarios on P&L leverage, competitive analysis, market modeling and adhoc projects; Participate in the divisional Quarterly Business Review; Assist in setting appropriate financial targets; Linking strategies and tactics to financial objectives.
- **Financial Reporting and Close Management** - Responsible for leading compliance with quarterly budgeting calendar & guidelines (i.e. FP&A timelines, guidance communication, targets etc.), leading monthly central FP&A meetings, Attending Corporate FP&A meetings, monthly & quarterly business reviews and quarterly plan reviews: Monitor and measure business performance to ensure maximization of opportunities to meet or exceed targets; Provide guidance/advice to ensure performance targets are achieved. Close Management: monitor closing activities and approve material activities [Key deliverables: Market Model, QBR's/MBR's, MDIV Analysis, Close Decks, ADS/Sales Analysis, CAPEX, DSO, Pricing etc]
- **Collaboration on Special and Ad-hoc Projects** - Assist regional FP&A, Fin.Operations in the execution of region wide or Corporate wide FP&A related initiatives. Represent the Region in various regional and Corporate task forces, as required. Required to be the Lead instructor on all Financial System training.
- **Continous Improvement, Productivity and Innovation** - Establish, maintain and/or leverage as appropriate information systems to support the FP&A process. Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity and analysis, increase efficiencies, manage costs and maintain state of the art practices.
- **Team Development**:

Attract, hire and develop talent and leadership capability within the team. Provide functional leadership and mentoring to the FP&A resources across the region. Co-ensures that employees are notified of all mandatory training and quality obligations with HR Managers. Tracks completion of mandatory training.
- **Quality and Internal Controls** - Provides input to the Quality committee in finance specific local issues, with the purpose of wither finding a solution form other countries' experiences or providing advice on potential barriers for other countries and local regulations. Drives compliance in all finance related matters (CA&C, SOX, Statutory, monthly Closing). Participates in implementing Quality requirements in all aspects of the Finance Process. Participates in driving quality awareness in every employee, while guiding the local organization towards improved performance and customer oriented initiatives.

**What are we Looking for in You**:

- Minimum of 5/7 years FP&A experience in an international environment (US company if possible, if in the MedTech or Pharma field would be a plus)
- Prior experience in audit or accounting is a plus
- Management of FP&A activities for multiple countries in a commercial environment
- Full P&L management experience including closing, reporting and forecasting activities
- Fluent in English (essential) and fluent in French would be highly beneficial
- FP&A Functional Competencies:_
- Planning: personal organization and time management, ability to manage a complete planning process with multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment, forecasting
- Analytical skills: Ability to see both the big picture and the details - Good interpreter of data - Forward look
