- 8+ years of programming experience with Java
- 4+ years of programming experience with a web technology (React or Angular - Typescript)
- 6+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Pipelines, Containers, Build and packaging automation
- Good experience using Amazon Web Services

Key job responsibilities
As a member of this new service, you will work alongside outstanding engineers and leaders who obsess about performance, availability, scalability and durability of customer data. You will be developing features that solve customers' real world problems. You will be solving technical problems at a large scale, using distributed systems, and Web technologies. As a member of this team, you will have strong ownership over the design, implementation and operation of mainframe modernization systems. You will have the opportunity to work with an agile team that ships often, and see the impact your code has on a wide range of customers.
- 4+ years experience building high scale SaaS software that handle big amounts of data
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, availability, and internet and Cloud security fundamentals
- Demonstrated ability to mentor other software developers in all aspects of their engineering skillsets
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, product strategy and influence outcomes in technical decision-making
- Track record of building and delivering mission critical, 24x7 production software systems
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.

- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
- Proficient level in French
