Position Duties

Evil Empire is looking for a Senior Concept Artist to work on one of our amazing new projects.

You would be joining the team and be in charge of creating new content for a game developed in Unity.

We're looking for someone who wants to help us with:

- Concepting both environments and characters in a stylized but serious tone.
- Amazing artistic eye and being able to quickly match to the specific needs and style of the project
- Some texture painting and modelling is a plus
- Communicate actively with other teams, from artists to designers and programmers about the needs, constraints and scope of the concepts.
- Being responsible for your work post-hoc, communicating with other artists throughout the modelling and implementation process to maximize final quality.
- Being able to organize your assets properly and respect the structure of the project
- Being able to manage your own schedule to respect the deadlines and give visibility to the producer about your work
- Sharing your experience and skills with the rest of the team
- Giving us feedback on the production pipeline and tools and suggesting improvements if necessary
- The ideal profile has a minimum of 3-4 years of experience
- Beautiful art / painting skills
- A powerful style and imagination that brings the aesthetic to a new level
- You've shipped a few games and are able to provide reference of people you worked for or with that we can check.
- You're self-motivated and proactive.
- You're passionate about video games.

Bonus points:

- English (at least intermediate level)
- Previous work experience in either indie or AAA studios.
- Your jokes are less funny than those of the CEO

Additional Information
- Salary based on skills and experience of your profile
- Long Term Contract (CDI) on a 35 h basis hour per week
- Based in our office in Bordeaux is a huge plus
