Supplier Development Engineer

We are looking for a Supplier Development Engineer

Location: Taverny or Toulouse (FRANCE)

As a Supplier Development Engineer, you will represent INCORA, building strong relationships with suppliers, to improve their performance. You will be supportive, finding solutions to problems or concerns and ensuring that our suppliers deliver the best possible service to Incora.

Roles / responsibilities:

- Drive improvements utilising Lean methodologies, supplier scorecards and own supplier

assessments; ensuring supplier compliance whilst driving systematic problem solving and

process improvement plans to deliver value
- Undertake planning, capability and capacity assessments on suppliers and drive subsequent

closure of corresponding action plans to reduce overall supplier risk
- Build relationships with designated supplier leadership teams to positively influence

improvement activities within the supplier and to promote continuous improvement
- Lead and participate in improvement activities at department/company level to enhance

business performance
- Attend supplier site meetings to drive supplier performance and complete supplier

assessments; travelling where necessary

About You

You are an experienced engineer in logistics or supply chain; Excellent communication skills, able to work with our suppliers to plan actions and improve their performance.

We are interested in people from all walks of life with experience in manufacturing with a good understanding and knowledge of shop floor planning and control processes in a manufacturing environment (preferably aerospace)

Travel is to be expected in France.
