Business Manager - Commercial&Operations
**Your role and responsibilities**:
The Process Automation Energy Industries Blending activity within ABB France focuses on automating blending processes in sectors such as chemicals, petrochemicals, and food processing. We develop tailor-made solutions that integrate control software, instrumentation, and online analysis to ensure the quality of finished products, regulatory compliance, and optimization of industrial performance. - Create, plan, and implement service sales strategy and business development initiatives for the EMEA region, aligned with global strategy. - Drive order intake in areas such as automation upgrades, mechanical retrofits, spare parts, field services, maintenance contracts, and installed base evolution. - Identify and pursue sales opportunities to exceed budget and strategic goals. - Build strong customer relationships, analyze market and competitors to highlight service value.
**Qualifications for the role**:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering with 12+ years of experience in service business development.
- Knowledge of mechanical devices, modular skids, instrumentation, valves, electrical systems, automation, and digitalization.
- Experience in lubricants, paints & coatings, pulp & paper, and specialty chemicals sectors.
- Skilled in contract negotiation, framework agreements, and risk management. Fluent in English and French.
