Working as part of a cross functional team, you lead RDQ activities to complete packaging design and packaging deployment for innovation/growth projects and productivity projects across multiple geographies with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience.

**How you will contribute**

You will independently coordinate technical work for projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks, and coordinate projects to determine appropriate packaging specification information using sampling and supplier management and pilot-plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. In this role, you will also develop activities such as packaging design and specifications, scale up, commissioning, etc., and plan for the effective use of resources including the use of external agencies and suppliers. To succeed in this role, you will use your understanding of equipment design and manufacturing processes to ensure that packaging specifications are determined with excellence. You will be accountable for stakeholder management and influencing decisions based on conclusions derived from the analysis and interpretation of results; develop and leverage connections both internally and with the external technical community; and create intellectual property to drive competitive advantage.

- Shape packaging brief in collaboration with other functions and manage / actively support packaging creativity cessions.
- Recommend technical and consumer oriented packaging solutions during exploratory phase
- As R&D representative, define, coordinate and monitor the level of resources required by project (human and financial resources) with the group leader.
- Bring Technical expertise (material and process) within project teams to propose consumer value added, safe and efficient processed packaging thanks to significant scientific content.
- Leverage collaborative networking across Mondelez Packaging community to develop and implement superior packaging & processes
- Design and develop packaging solutions in order to deliver project objectives in relation with : Innovation and line extensions; Packaging cost efficiency; Product transfers and start ups; Quality improvement and brand quality maintenance
- Work with the global packaging teams to commercialize global platforms and power brand related projects
- Define and Manage appropriate packaging consumer validation tests (process and mockups).
- As R&D representative, communicate within the multifunctional project team on packaging progresses related to : Targets, technical options, risk, planning, resources and costs
- Support investments evaluation with supply chain.
- Organize and execute lab, pilot plant and plant trials.
- Support industrial launch
- Ensure follow up of shelf life of products with R&D Biscuit department.
- Provide specifications & appropriate documentation complying with Mdlz policies and procedures.
- Carry out end-of-project reviews, lead corrective measures and promote best practices
- Proactively integrate, monitor and animate transversal activities (Sustainability, new tools implementation )

**What you need to know about this position**:
This role is part of the MEU RCT RD&Q Packaging team.

The teams’ responsibilities cover growth and, productivity projects in Biscuit category within the MEU region.

Reporting to the Biscuit Group Leader, you will be part of a team of 6-7 people.

**What extra ingredients you will bring**:

- 5-6 years of experience in development or good experience in production environment
- Broad knowledge of packaging material and technologies
- Organizational agility and strong project management skills in cross functional
- Fluent English mandatory
