Head of P&C Home, EL, MDDR and Other (Saint-Ouen (Paris), 93, FR, 93400) **Key Responsibilities : What you do** The Head of P&C - EL, MDDR, HOME & Other is responsible for steering the EL, MDDR, HOME & Other Lines of Buisness within AzP on a global scale from a financial view (incl. AzP Planning Dialogue and all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting), deriving recommendations/actions for strategic positioning and turn-around measures of EL, MDDR, HOME & Other business in all AzP units. The job is highly focused on supporting the transformation of AzP towards a LoB driven company. Active contribution to strategic decision-making of the Chief Officers and Financial Directors of the respective LoBs based on financial analysis as well as on sound business judgment is also part of the role. The Head of P&C - EL, MDDR, HOME & Other directly reports to Head of P&C - Markets & Assistance LoB controlling and leads a team across Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America. The coordination for a combined reporting of the global LoB results includes driving and supporting the AzP matrix structure with solid financials incl. the LoB reporting towards LoB responsible AzP Board members (specifically Chief Officers of respective LoBs), setting up a customer centric financial reporting, building a well-functioning, cross-functional collaboration with the regions and with other AzP units, AzP Finance and Group functions. Increasing efficiency and productivity in the team and the coordination of outsourced activities to FSS is part of the leadership responsibility. The Head of P&C - EL, MDDR, HOME & Other contributes to the target setting and the target assessment of respective LoBs and is a primary liaising partner to these LoBs' Chief Officers and Financial Directors, AzP CFO, AzP Global Head of P&C, the global P&C teams and other relevant LoB related functions (e.g. Underwriting, Market Management) and other Finance teams (e.g. Actuaries). Additionally the global EL, MDDR, HOME & Other LoB team is also the main contact for financial topics of defined EL, MDDR, HOME & Other distribution channels and their business responsible management (i.e. B2C, Allianz Solutions). **Key Responsibilities** - Manage 9 direct reports - EL, MDDR, HOME & Other LoB controllers who will be located across Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America geographies but are responsible individually for specific sub-regions. - Responsible for the global AzP Planning Dialogue for EL, MDDR, HOME & Other LoBs (specifically the commercial result planning) as well as related monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to the global Lob responsibles and the global AzP Board. Contributing to target setting and assessment of respective LoBs is also part of the responsibilities. Develop and maintain a well-functioning and cross-functional collaboration with all relevant AzP units and functions. - Build and lead a high-performing team combining both functional expertise and strategic/business judgment and provide guidance to a diverse and very international group of people in the finance area. - Contribute to the prepartion of the Strategic Dialogue from a global EL, MDDR, HOME & Other Lobs' Finance point of view. Derive recommendations/actions for strategic positioning and turn-aruond measures of EL, MDDR, HOME & Other business in all AzP units as well as actively contribute to strategic decision-making of the LoBs' Chief Officers and 'Financial Directors based on financial analysis and sound business judgment. - Drive EL, MDDR, HOME & Other related AzP Finance Projects and Business Cases, i.e. being a strategic business partner supporting the decision making by conceptual and financial analyses in defined business opportunities often translated in a business case plus setting standards for evaluation of new business opportunities from an economic point of view. - Steer cost of EL, MDDR, HOME & Other LoBs in alignment with global functional targets of P&C. Securing harmonized prozesses and comparable results for expense and lob allocation as well as creating full transparency to Lobs' Chief officers on the cost allocated to their respective Lobs. - Increase data availability and quality of EL, MDDR, HOME & Other LoBs as well as improve finance processes and related reporting and analysis. **Key Requirements : What you bring.** - 10+ years of professional experience in relevant field (insurance, finance, consulting). - Excellent business judgment based on comprehensive and deep understanding of AzP business model and Allianz Group. - Ability to derive actions/"So whats" from financial analysis. - Outstanding communication capabilities. - Quantitative skills and experience in multi-faceted, global and strategic projects. - Strong ability and understanding to develop financial plans and manage resources. - Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. - Evidence for entrepreneurial leadership / business development profile (results, projects). - Ability
