We're looking for a Sr. Manager to lead communications for Pinterest in France and Benelux. You'll join a passionate global communications team, partnering closely with local senior management and cross-functional partners. This contract role offers the chance to drive impactful press coverage, craft our narrative in the region and support our business growth in Europe.

**What you'll do**:

- Lead and deliver external communications plans for France and Benelux across consumer, B2B, corporate and policy comms
- Manage relationships with high-profile media, from pitching to issue response and crisis comms
- Oversee in-market PR agencies, including directing their work, monitoring progress and ensuring effective reporting and budgeting
- Partner closely with senior management to support event participation and maximize executive visibility
- Identify, develop and promote business case studies highlighting Pinterest's value to advertisers
- Build collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams and contribute to a unified global communications function
- Stay ahead of moments that require brand protection or rapid response, ensuring reputational resilience for Pinterest
- Operate as a team-player, contributing positively to a learning-focused, growth-oriented team environment

**What we're looking for**:

- 10+ years' experience in a senior-level in-house communications role, ideally for a global brand
- Experience working in the technology or social media sectors
- Deep understanding of the French and Benelux media landscape
- Expertise in managing and cultivating key media relationships, including crisis communications
- Skilled in strategic communications involving leadership, sensitive policy changes and major product launches
- Comfortable working side-by-side with, and advising, senior leaders
- Outstanding writing skills and strong attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple projects at once with a solutions mindset, even in ambiguity and change
- Holds themselves accountable for outcomes and enjoys working collaboratively
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field such as communications, public relations, journalism or equivalent experience
