**Your role**
The patent team is part of Global R&D and is in charge of proposing tailored patent strategies including securing robust and business-aligned patent rights for the Company, defending our protected products and processes towards infringement and securing freedom of exploitation for the Company’s products and processes.
We are looking for a patent analyst that will be in charge of participating to technology intelligence studies for Process studies of R&D portfolios with the following responsibilities:
- Performing patent prior art searches in support of patent filing, freedom to operate studies and opposition to the granting of third party patents,
- Creating patent landscapes at the request of decision-makers,
- Writing state of the art technical reports, and
- Producing and distributing thematic patent watch and technical newsletters to researchers and the Technical Department.
In the frame of these activities, you will be working in close relationship with the patent attorneys and with the researchers of the Group.
**Your profile**
- You hold a Masters' degree or an Engineering degree in Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science, advantageously complemented by a Master 2 in Technological Watch and Innovation.
- Professional experience in similar domain would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of monitoring tools (Orbit, STN, Intellixir, Digimind..), and ability to search for information in databases and on the internet are required.
- You are advanced in English and in French.
- You are a good team player, autonomous, open minded with good inter-personal, analysis and organizational skills.
