- Looking For
- We are growing quickly and are looking for a hotel opening manager to oversee the hotel re-launch. You will be responsible for ensuring all departments follow a modern, tech-focused protocol. You will also be responsible for creating virtual employee trainings, employee manuals, helping define roles and hire new managers for the hotel, choosing the right tech stack (CRM, Channel Manager, etc.), and will be generally responsible help keep everyone on track - both team and client alike To be successful in this role, you to help keep everyone on task. This is a senior role - you will be responsible for overseeing the hospitality team, liaising with clients, and will report directly to the managing partners.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Complete university degree (bachelor's or similar
Experience opening a minimum of 3 hotels
Experience managing a team of at least 20
Experience reporting directly to executive level partners
3-8 years of project management and related experience
Prior experience managing teams of at least 20 people
Proven ability to solve problems creatively
Strong familiarity with hotel management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
A firm but friendly personality.. If one person gets behind, the whole project goes off track. We need you to keep everyone at pace. : -)

Strong interpersonal skills
Extremely resourceful - we’ll rely on you to bring solutions to problems
Proven ability to complete projects from start to finish, according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Responsibilities
- Work with team to outline scope, budget, and hotel launch date - then define phases and timelines within that,
Work with team to predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Provide project updates consistently to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
Additional Responsibilities
Because we’re a budding company, we may also ask you wear a few additional hats as needed
- Shift
- Your hours will be flexible. That said, our clients are mostly US and European-based, so you must be able to take calls in these zones as needed.

- 3 weeks paid vacation, starting at 6 months
5 family/sick days, starting at 6 months (convertible to vacation if not used)
$1,000 in annual education credits
The ability to work from anywhere
Choose your own work week: 4 longer days or 5 shorter. Most of our team opt for a 4-day work week.
Plan your own schedule: If you finish the week’s work in 30 hours, great Some weeks will be slow and others intense. You should expect to average 40 hours a week, but can give and take from weeks as workload and deadlines vary.
