Apprenticeship: Test Development Engineer

Join our innovative team in Provence, France, as a student Test Engineer and play a key role in developing and implementing test solutions for our cutting-edge electronic products. As a member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to the development of our company's future.

In your new role you will:

- Develop and implement **test packages for new products,**ensuring they meet our quality and reliability standards
- **Create test concepts and strategies**to ensure the robustness, reliability, and functionality of our products, in accordance with design and datasheet requirements
- Work closely with **c**ross-functional teams**to ensure design for testability
- Learn and deploy our **Virtual Test Development (VTD) tool**:

- **Analyze test data**and provide insights to **improve test efficiency and product quality**:

- Collaborate with senior test engineers to **learn and develop new skills
**Your Profile**
You possess a strong analytical mindset and are a meticulous individual with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details. You are also an effective communicator with the ability to collaborate and work seamlessly with people from diverse backgrounds, making you a valuable asset to our team.

You are best equipped for this task if you:

- Are enrolled in the second year (M2) of your **Master’s degree**in **Electronic Engineering, Microelectronic Engineering, Computer Science**, or a related field
- Have a background in **electronics and physics**, with knowledge of **circuit analysis, signal processing**, and related principles
- Possess proficiency in **programming languages**, including Python, C++, MATLAB, and Java, with experience in **software development and testing**:

- Are knowledgeable of **Linux**environment, **circuit design**and **simulation (Camino)**:

- Are fluent in **English**

It would be an advantage if you have:

- Experience with **laboratory equipment and instruments**, including **signal generators, oscilloscopes, and PCB testing tools**:

- Experience with **Cadence Virtuoso**and **Spectre**:

- Familiarity with **industry standards and regulations**, including those related to semiconductor testing and quality assurance
- Knowledge of **Automated Test Equipment**and **s**emiconductor industry standards**:

- Familiarity with **Infineon's products and technologies
