ATG Tax Global is the French branch of the AVASK group, a major player in the field of indirect taxation and, more specifically, VAT in the intra-Community zone, present throughout Europe and the World.

In order to meet the growing market demand, we are currently looking to hire a Manager to head up of our French Desk. This role is based in our office in Paris and we are seeking a technically competent Leader who will manage the VAT department and will be responsible for assisting with indirect tax risks and providing high level VAT advice to the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Management of a team of VAT consultants
- Supervision of VAT declarations submission in all countries where our clients are established
- Assist Manager in dealing with other complex business issues of clients
- Supervise the collaboration with our partners across Europe
- Responsible for communicating with the tax authorities as well as for monitoring and follow up the respective processes
- Point of contact of the customer relationship management;
- Proactivity research and update of VAT knowledge data basis.

The position includes management skills and capacity to deal with clients and tax authorities in several jurisdictions, as well as the technical VAT knowledge to provide the VAT services to our clients

**Essential skills, knowledge and qualifications**:

- At least 5 years of higher education in law, accounting, management or economics, preferably with a specialization in taxation or VAT
- Professional experience of at least 3 years in an international environment with the willingness to work in a multicultural and dynamic team
- Bilingual in English and French
- Knowledge of Microsoft systems including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
- Excellent Leadership skills

The position is to be filled in our Parisian offices in the 16th arrondissement.
