Echoes is the European Leader for providing neutral server and specific web products serving B2B customer and fleet industry in the Short Rental, Leasing and Mobility Operators sectors. The Echoes solution and products are based on a unique technology for collecting data directly from the embedded telematics technology by the OEMs. Collected data are harmonized and exposed to the B2B customers via API or through products dedicated to specific needs and use cases.
Echoes is offering Vehicle Data as a Service to B2B customers willing to use the data of their vehicles, for the time needed and with the flexibility required to build efficient and relevant business case.
2024 has been a fantastic year for Echoes to establish strong partnership across Europe, launch international customers in different countries, and increase market shares in Rental and Leasing markets.
Early 2024, Echoes merged with Moving Intelligence, Dutch company leader in its markets providing top class tracking and security solutions for assets.
As a group, the objective is to become European leader in Telematics and Connected vehicles solutions within 5 years.
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to drive our sales efforts in France and accelerate revenue growth.
**Position Summary**:
The Sales Manager is responsible for identifying business opportunities and for executing the strategy to grow the business. The Sales Manager is a “hunter” with strong closing skills. He / She is in charge of prospecting his region, building a sales strategy and closing deals. The Sales Manager is accountable for project execution, customer satisfaction as managed by the Program Managers. The Sales Manager leads all aspects of the sales process in assigned region, while coordinating with other company resources for solution development, implementation, and customer support.
The Sales Manager proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging key customers in conjunction with Account and Program Managers. We are looking for a “hunter” personality. This position provides a management-level point of contact for key customers and builds and maintains strong customer relationships.
**Responsibilities**:
- Together with senior management, develops, implements and leads business and sales strategies to enable growth
- Builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions
- Grows market share through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing business
- Presents to and consults with senior management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and potential customers and sectors
- Provides short and long term forecast to support revenue, product and hardware planning
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identifies and develops the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators that will lead to increased profit, and improved customer satisfaction
- Identifies and initiates relationships with potential Saless
- Maintains an effective and clear understanding of industry regulations, market trends and competitive landscape
- Elevates and promotes the company brand and image
- Attends industry functions, events and conferences, and provides feedback and information on market and industry trends
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Sales experience and network for fleet and rental customers
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills coupled with technical knowledge in the telematics technology, software development, automotive and other related applicable markets
- Background in telematics or SaaS is a plus
- Must have bachelor’s degree in engineering, sales, business or related
- Minimum 5 years industry experience in his region with good network and track records
- Ability to work remotely
