The Saint-Gobain Group is willing to be an undisputed leader in the light and sustainable construction products. Therefore, the Wood Insulation entity of Saint-Gobain Insulation Business aims to expand its capacity & develop its product offer in Wood Insulation.
The Technology and Industrial Performance (TIP) Department as a central team in charge of Industrial Performance roadmap, standards and benchmarking, R&D programs (Products and Process) for Construction, Strategic Investments, Capacity Allocation among countries and Excellence Programs.
Under the responsibility of the technical direction from Isover France, you will be in charge of supporting the Saint-Gobain Group for its manufacturing excellence & development roadmap for wood insulation products & solutions:
- You report to the Technical Direction France.
- You propose, put in place & follow the necessary action plan for excellence in capacity, cost of ownership, quality and service at the highest standard.
- You industrialize the new/improved products & technologies in conjunction with the production & R&D teams.
- You validate the best available technologies in the domain and you support the specification to any new equipment acquisition.
- You are able to manage a team, both on technical and relational level
- You report regularly the progresses obtained on the field to a steering committee at the country (France) & TIP levels.
**Ce poste est-il fait pour vous ?**
- Master’s degree in Engineering Sciences (Industrial/Civil, Engineer, Production technology, Material science)
- A previous experience in wood industry (3-5 years mini) with operational teams in production, or process/product industrialization is required
- Appreciated knowledge of bio-sourced materials and technologies to transform such materials
Competencies required
- Deep affinity with the technical aspects of a production process.
- Autonomous, enterprising personality and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Analytical, but not afraid to work hands-on.
- A managerial experience in an industrial environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, for teamwork
- Rigorous and used to follow methods & guidelines
- Fluent English required
Job is based at the Saint-Gobain headquarters in La Défense, with regular trips to Isonat (Mably) and further other sites in Europe.
