Nokia Standards collaborates with internal and external experts to advance the state-of-the-art technology landscape as well as to protect Nokia's intellectual property. We are looking for ambitious and highly engaged colleagues as part of Nokia's global Standardization & Industry Environment Team.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

We are seeking highly motivated communications technology experts to join Nokia's 3GPP RAN WG4 delegation.

Are you passionate about solving problems?
As part of our team, you will:

- develop radio standardization specifications in the areas of RF (user equipment and/or base station), spectrum, and/or Radio Resource Management performance requirements for 5G-Advanced and beyond;
- contribute to and participate in 3GPP RAN WG4 meetings, representing Nokia;
- create inventions and intellectual property (IPRs) and support strengthening of Nokia's IPR portfolio;
- contribute to and participate in customer dialogues on the latest trends in wireless technology and standardization.

**Your skills and experience**

You have:

- master's degree or PhD
- fluent English, strong communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in technical writing
- a strong system background in 5G or LTE
- a profound understanding of radio access system design
- experience in at least one of RF performance, analogue RF design, spectrum aspects, radio resource management, radio conformance testing.

The following would also be beneficial:

- understanding of device and/or base station implementation
- experience of link and/or system-level simulations
- a track record of innovation
- experience in 3GPP standardisation or working with 3GPP radio specifications
- proven ability to work in a multi-national and distributed team
