In generation and transmission business unit this means designing, engineering, and fabricating the worlds’ best cables and related installation methods and equipment. You have experience with a combined office and site work environment. You have worked in companies that are project driven, preferably with activities related to installation of HV subsea cables. You have experience working domestically or internationally, ideally with projects related to interconnectors, windfarms, or power from shore. You will be comfortable with ensuring quality and safety during the projects. We provide an unique opportunity to follow a project from project award to energizing the cable system. To do this you plan for the project execution phase and lead work during the onshore/topside installation. In cooperation with the project team you manage installation packages, suppliers and subcontractors, make sure that required procedures, plans, analyses, calculations and other documentation are prepared. You will also participate in developing technical solutions within the department. You make a solid impact by participating in Quality and HSE activities internally.- Your starting point when you join- Higher technical education (BSc / MSc degree) and relevant work experience.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience from the energy, subsea, construction or infrastructure industry.
- Experience with planning operations, write technical procedures and specifications.
- Able to read, understand and assure compliance to relevant codes and standards
- Responsible and structured.
- Able to delegate within the project group; understand requirements, contracts and define scope of work.
- Proactive, practical, able to “see the whole picture” and “gather loose ends”
- Creative, with an analytical and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
- Excellent Norwegian and English language skills - both written and verbal.
- Enjoy working both in teams and independently.
- Like to seek more knowledge within own discipline area and other interface areas.
