**Job Description Summary**: The scope is EMEA Service cost efficiency and the role owns/influences budgets and operating plans as well as its rigorous execution. The role is guided by operating policy, works with cross functional teams and collaborates closely with global Service productivity and product Segments’ teams. The role has autonomy within EMEA Services, and has a major impact on its P&L. High levels of evaluative judgment and operational acumen are required to achieve outcomes.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Builds, owns cost productivity plans and leads execution to deliver on planned targets.
- Simplifies reporting and communicates relevant information broadly to ensure focus and ultimately deliver performance.
- Drives all actions leading to eliminating waste (Labor, Material and Overhead costs).
- Provides guidance to EMEA Services Executives (VP & GM, Chief Operations Officer and Zone Service GMs) to make decisions and execution.
- Influences policy and ensures delivery within area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the organization, within EMEA, within global Services and/or in collaboration with global product segments.
- Builds and improves business intelligence and interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
- Leads others to find creative solutions within complex processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Employs sophisticated operational/product management, manufacturing or engineering techniques. Interaction with adjacent functions needed to solve issues. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Presents business or technical discipline solutions to leaders. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to connect the dots and take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.

**Required Qualifications**
- For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Services & Technical Support. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

**Desired Characteristics**
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills and Lean techniques.
