Apprenticeship: Pre and Post-silicon Verification Engineering

As a Pre and Post-Silicon Verification Engineer working as an apprentice, you will support our verification team in developing power-integrated circuits (ICs) for the automotive market.
Your mission will be to optimize simulations of our ICs by considering parasitic impedances on the test board for post-silicon verification. Then, the simulation results will be closer to real values measured on silicon.

In your apprenticeship, you will:

- **Learn**IC behavior by **reading the datasheet**and other technical documentation
- **Measure**IC performance **on Silicon**using the test board and NI PXI test equipment
- **Measure parasitic impedance**on the IC test board using different lab instruments
- **Include**parasitic impedance**in the IC simulation test bench
- **Perform simulation**and **compare the results**with real measurements
- Improve and **adjust parasitic impedance**until having **similar results**between pre and post-silicon verification
- Write **results documentation and present**it to technical experts
- Work with **both**verification**engineering teams **pre and post-silicon
**Your Profile**

You have a curious mindset, good communication and organizational skills, and are willing to actively support and collaborate with your team members.

We believe you will be a great fit for this role if you:

- Are studying **Electrical**or**Electronic**Engineering,**enrolled in the **last year of a Bachelor's**or in a **Master’s**Degree
- Are **experienc**ed**using **Cadence**tools for analog-mixed-signal IC design **verification**:

- Are **experienced**with **measurement equipment**(test bench)
- Are eager to work in an **international environment**:

- Are fluent in **English**.**French**knowledge would be a plus

It would be an advantage if you have:

- Experience with **Unix/Linux**shell commands and editors
- Knowledge of **lab equipment**(especially oscilloscope, current probe, multi-meter)
- Knowledge in **Analog, Power electronics, and Physics of semiconductor devices**
