We are looking for a HPP SITE SUPERVISOR for a minimum period of 12 months in Ethiopia for one of our clients.
Within the framework of the GERDP project (Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam Project), the following tasks will be carried out
- Coordination of the work of the companies on site: 5 companies in charge of EPC contracts on civil engineering, hydromechanical equipment and electrical equipment
- Writing of weekly progress reports. Making presentations to the client and the Ethiopian authorities. Provision of progress data for the monthly report by the head office.
- Preparation of correspondence and/or analysis of contractors' requests in conjunction with the contract team on site, in Addis and at headquarters. Drafting of correspondence and analysis reports for the Head of Development on technical and contractual matters of the project.
PROFIL:
- Number of years experience required: 15 years
- Sector experience: Hydroelectricity or dam civil engineering
- Experience in hydro-mechanical equipment or civil engineering to participate in the coordination and organisation of the ongoing site work.
- Languages / Level: Fluent English, French would be a plus
- Experience in an international environment, preferably in Africa
