Purchasing Project Manager missions shall be done in different geographical areas and will cover all categories involved ( ie: plastic & metal parts, packaging, electro-tech parts or raw material).
Main mission will be
- Be the Purchasing point of contact for industrial or localization projects
- Manage transversally purchasing activities in relation with the local purchasing team if any and in coordination with Category leaders
- Manage Market intelligence: Collect market data to support to market knowledges build up on some categories: costs drivers, suppliers market and products evolution, technologies,
- Drive the operation phase of the localization projects; including sourcing activities, supplier visit and assessments, panel definition, costing and quotation works up the definition of the localization road-map proposal to support Category Leader global strategy.
- Support in SRM process; interact with Category Leader and BU communities.
- This role will involve extensive travel for business in the different geographical area.
**PROFILE**:
Education: Engineering, Business or Purchasing Master’s degree
Experience: At least 5-8 years in purchasing department. At least 3 years of experience in direct purchasing with strong industrial know-how and understanding.
Language: Fluent in English
