As an integral part of our SRE team, you'll be at the forefront of building and operating an innovative global Cloud Platform in the data and analytics space, empowering organizations to transform their data and gain insights into their business.

**What **M**akes **T**his **R**ole **Exciting**?**
- **
Collaboration**: Join a diverse team of SREs, Platform Engineers, Software Developers, and domain experts. As the owner of infrastructure best practices, you will ensure the Dev team adheres to these practices, and if not, help them to do so. Your teamwork will drive innovation and excellence.
- **Innovation**: Lead the creation and maintenance of a global, highly scalable Cloud Platform for data integration and analytics. Improve Qlik's current infrastructure to meet today's and tomorrow's challenges (AI, Reliability, etc.).
- **
Growth**: Grow and share your expertise with the team. Participate in knowledge-sharing meetings with other SREs. Undertake trainings and certifications to grow your skills and improve everyone's knowledge. Drive improvements to enhance efficiency and deliver greater value.
- **
Projects**: Engage in meaningful projects, such as enhancing our global Cloud Platform's scalability and reliability or developing infrastructure to support Advanced Analytics and AI initiatives.
- **
Best Practices**: Promote optimal Cloud design and optimization to boost reliability, scalability, security, performance, and cost efficiency.

**Day-to-Day Responsibilities**

While the specifics of each day can vary, your typical day might include:

- **
Collaborating **with team members and stakeholders in daily stand-ups.
- **Designing **and **implementing **new features for our Cloud Platform.
- **Troubleshooting **and resolving infrastructure issues.
- **Monitoring **system performance and implementing improvements.
- **Participating **in code reviews and architecture discussions.
- **Conducting research** on new technologies and presenting findings to the team.

**We’re** looking for a teammate with**:

- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in SRE, Cloud Builder or DevOps roles.
- Knowledge of Cloud engineering / architecture with AWS (Azure or GCP are a plus) and microservices domain (containerization, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of IaaC / configuration mgmt. / systems automation tools at scale (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, etc.);
- Knowledge / experience of one or more of the following technology domains **is a plus**:

- **K**ubernetes Ecosystem**: Karpenter, Kyverno, KEDA, Gloo, Traefik...
- ** Observability**: Prometheus, Thanos, Cortex, Grafana / Mimir, ELK, Dynatrace...
- ** Data Backends**: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, ActiveMQ, Temporal, Solace...
- ** CI/CD**: GitOps / GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Flux...
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies (e.g. Kanban, Scrum)
- Experience in working within a distributed international Agile team environment **is a plus**:

- Basic working proficiency in English
