Job Title: Equity Derivatives Broker Intern
Business Unit: Equity Derivatives
Location: Paris, France
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time Hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Position Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the products and markets in which you work.
Understand the desk's business strategy and seek to identify new business opportunities.
Help with double-checking client's requests and pricings on different markets.
Participating in the innovation and implementation of trade monitoring and pricing tools.
Work on promoting trade ideas using Bloomberg terminal among others.
On-board new clients following the correct process with the Client On-Boarding team.
Understand relevant regulation within the evolving regulatory landscape.
Support a risk and compliance aware culture and comply with group policies.
Qualifications:
Very good understanding of pricing and financial modeling.
Strong communication skills and drive to work collaboratively.
Competitive nature and a strong understanding of probability and statistics.
Curiosity to learn with a keen interest in financial markets.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, VBA, SQL.
Prior experience is not a prerequisite - as long as you have a keen interest in financial markets.
You will be required to work in a fast-paced energetic environment.
