Job Description:
We are looking for a broker assistant to help us to contribute to a project within BGC Group. You will collaborate with senior executives and brokers to design and develop new tools, taking part in defining both its technical and functional scope. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on an innovative project with significant impact and real ownership over your work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve the database system
- Add new functionalities using the collected data
- Automate parts of the broker workflow
- Apply Machine Learning/Econometrics/Statistics techniques for forecasting and creating value for brokers and clients
Skills we are looking for:
- Autonomous in code project development
- Database management experience (PostgreSQL, SQLite, …)
- Experience with Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI, …) or other significant programming languages will be valued
- Financial market knowledge: especially Equity Derivatives
