We are currently working with a leading investment bank based in Paris. They have one of the best names for sell side research of any firm, and are now looking to hire an Equity Research Associate to their telecoms equity research team.

The aim of the role will be to write pieces of equity research on French telecoms companies and market your investment ideas to your clients who will be asset managers and hedge funds.

Day to day this will involve:

- writing the research
- speaking with investors
- speaking with the management of companies you analyse
- building financial models and updating them
- valuations and analysis
- monitoring newsflow

They are interested in meeting people who will have a background as follows:

- equity analysts looking to move to a better firm
- accountants keen on moving into equity research
- investment bankers
- CFA, bankers or other analysts looking to make a move into equity research

Telecoms experience is not needed
