**JOB DESCRIPTION**

In your role as a** Systems and Equipment Technician**, you will provide end-to-end live streaming experiences and broadcasts from studios for a well-known technology company. You will be involved in all stages of planning, preparing, and delivering a range of broadcasts and streaming events. In-depth knowledge of encoder software with the technical ability to create and support professional live video productions and with the practical experience of all the components required to produce a broadcast.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assists productions with routing their equipment to the studio’s infrastructure
- Assists with load-in of 3rd party productions and works together with AVSE to ensure electrical tie ins and rigging is within safe parameters
- Responsible for quality control of all equipment checked back in after an “operate” production
- Responsible for inventory control and escalation break-fix needs to Systems Engineers
- Assist Systems Engineers with the maintenance of technical infrastructure in each Digital studio
- Provide technical solutions and support to the wider team and assist in the hands-on delivery of events
- Understand signal path, ability to interpret flow charts, structured fault finding and elimination capabilities
- Work with the engineering team to provide feedback on possible enhancements and improvements to the space
- Experience in working in an Auditorium and with Broadcast standards
- Manage client expectations on production issues
- Liaise across different levels within the immediate team and the client’s organization
- Participate in team meetings with venue engineers to keep the technical operation to a very high standard
- Comply and enforce all building and industry Health & Safety procedures
- Comply and enforce all security and intellectual property protocols

- Work on ad hoc requests as required
