**JOB DESCRIPTION**
The HR Business Advisor role sits within the firm wide HR Business Advisor organization - a Center of Excellence/Shared Service construct. The HR Business Advisor’s responsibility is to work with managers at varying levels of the organization to execute strategic priorities set by senior leaders. They provide support to senior HR Business Advisors and senior managers on core HR activities. They help senior managers engage with others in HR and with specialists to bring resolution to their HR-related matters.
As the HR Business Advisor, You will report to the Head of Human Resources
- France and be aligned to support Senior Leaders and Leaders across all LOBs
- Front Office and Support Functions within France.
This is maternity cover role.
**Job responsibilities**
- Supports the implementation of people agenda initiatives across various lines of business and efforts for employees and managers in France
- Be able to independently gather appropriate data, organise data and present to different audiences including senior stakeholders
- Project manage or assist in HR-related initiatives such as Diversity, Health & Safety, Learning & Development for France
- Be a champion of HR process change. Analyze processes, data and trends to make recommendations to management team for continuous improvement
- Leads year-end compensation process and support the performance management cycle by partnering with and guiding managers through any development processes and planning needs for their teams
- Collaborates closely with the local operations team to ensure high quality client service end to end as well as confirm risk and control processes are in place where appropriate
- Works with internal and external Legal teams to understand France nuances and approach to conduct business in compliance with local regulations and law
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Human Resource experience (previous HR Business Advisor experience preferred) in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of full range of people practices in a business setting: goal setting, performance assessment and improvement, compensation practices, talent review and talent management, workforce planning, reductions in force, manager development
- Project management skills
- ability to define issues/problems, navigate, influence, and present to a variety of appropriate stakeholders
- Strong analytical, quantitative and technical skills that enable individual to leverage data to create HR strategies that support and drive business results
- Ability to navigate a global matrix organization and partner on issues across HR and the business
- Proven track record in objectively coaching employees and management through complex, difficult issues and mitigating risks
- Promote partnership by fostering a shared purpose, trust and teamwork across teams, businesses, functions, regions, and levels
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Fluent French Language
- speaking, reading, writing required
- Bachelor’s Degree, advanced degree desired
- Technically proficient in MS Office Suite - including Excel and PowerPoint
