**We are currently recruiting for our Paris office, an Intern Junior Product Analyst M/F (6 months)**
**The team you will be joining**:Methane and/or Nature products team**
- The Methane team is developing a tool that monitors in near-real time methane emissions globally. Using satellite imagery and AI, we provide granular and unique data to help governments, regulators, financial institutions or operators make better informed decisions to tackle this extremely potent greenhouse gas.
The Nature team is in charge of products and solutions for the monitoring of natural ecosystems and environmental risks. We produce datasets for public institutions, investors and insurance companies to reduce the environmental impact on the economy, scale conservation efforts and build efficient adaptation policies.
**Role**
You will work across Kayrros products, exploring new data sources and providers, developing new product features, and analysing data results in Python.
You will document your results and research for internal purpose and external communication.
You will work directly with the Product Managers, as well as with all the product teams, data scientists, data engineers or marketing.
Over the course of your internship, you might be exposed to Kayrros customers and/or contribute to the daily management and coordination of specific projects, all with the support of your direct manager.
**Profile**
This is an ideal opportunity if you are looking for a **six-month internship** starting between **October and November 2024**, and you want to join a fast-growing start-up.
- You have an interest in AI, geopolitics and climate-related topics
- You are dynamic, curious, and eager to learn about the energy industry
- You have experience with Python and are able to write reusable, testable and efficient code
- You can deliver the results of your research with compelling visuals
- You are fluent in English
- You can work in a fast-paced environment
- You are a hard worker with critical-thinking skills and interest in topics such as asset management, AI and satellite technology
- Optionally: experience with some components of our current stack: Docker, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Pandas, Scikit-learn
