**Purpose of the job**:

- To develop the sales and profitably, managing all aspects of the Aftermarket business in France and Benelux, including functions of planning and logistics, marketing and sales, financial controlling, Quality, technical support, customer service and administration.- To ensure the organisation structure is designed to deliver the business objectives and employees are trained, developed and motivated to contribute fully through effective team working.- To work closely with group functions and support departments to implement strategic plans and utilise resources as efficiently as possible. (e.g. IT, Finance, HR and Purchasing).**Your role & responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement local Sales Strategy to increase sales and profitability, realize business opportunities, enhance share of accounts and grow market share.
- Assess local market conditions, identify and take advantage of current and future sales opportunities.
- Manage the team including setting goals, ensuring training plans, etc.
- Plan, coordinate and manage product specific sales activities, including direct and specific solutions with/for key accounts.
- Ensure and conduct successful sales negotiations.
- Introduce new products and facilitate and push cross selling across the region.
- Implement a market specific distribution strategy and sales concepts that enable profitable sales growth.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and product profitability by customers, product groups, and sales channels. Identify unaddressed potential and derive corrective measures, making decisions rooted in data.
- Responsible for activities in sales and marketing to ensure profitability of product portfolio.
- Share best practices, business opportunities and needs across and between sub-regions.
- Accountable for the management of Customer Relationships and acquire new business within the area of scope.
- Responsible for budgets, CAPEX, forecasting, cost control, and planning.
- Represent MAHLE Aftermarket at official events (customer events, buying groups meetings, etc.)
- Establish continuous improvement by developing competences and adapting requirements of job profiles for sales force to address market and customer trends.

**Your skills & strengths**:

- Around 5 years of experience of marketing and sales, preferably the automotive Aftermarket sector
- Master’s degree in business studies or secondary post graduate qualification in sales & marketing
- General management skills acquired through running a department and role in a senior Management team
- Very good language skills: French, English
- Good financial awareness and understanding of balance sheet, asset management, cost control and drivers for profitability
- Marketing, Communication and Price Management experience is a plus
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, vendors & customers.
- Persuasiveness and excellent interpersonal skills
