**Missions et responsabilités**

Under the general supervision of the Applications Engineering Manager, the Applications Engineer is responsible for the management of single-customer development projects as well as providing technical support to customers and commercial functions.

Work with customers to understand performance requirements and envision solution as well as the industrialization of solutions with the Operations team. Coordinate work with R&D and external labs to develop new materials and obtain testing data to support the identification of ideal materials for the customer’s needs. Complete other related projects as assigned.
- Lead development programs. Lead co-development projects to develop material specifications and manufacturing processes, complete prototypes, and conduct material property testing based on customer requirements. Provide technical link between the customer and the manufacturing site for new products ensuring effective communication of customer needs.
- Ensure all development projects meets cost targets, project timelines and customer expectations for quality and on-time delivery.

**Profil recherché**

You have Master's Degree frome Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, in Materials Sciences ideally in Thermoplastic elastomer, silicone, or rubber extrusion industry speciality. A first experience in industry or R&D will be appreciated.

Also, you have Strong organizational, decision making, and project management skills, a demonstrated capacity to develop and implement practical customer solutions.

To exchange with customers and stakeholders, you have Strong communication skills related to customer support and project management.
