As a future Data Analyst for Data Product Factory, you will report to Head of Data Products, and you will be part of AXA IM Technology.

As part of its Data strategy, AXA IM has built a very successful/state of the heart Data Product Factory. About 10+ various Data Product squads from different domains (Data Referential, Responsible Investment, Quant & Research, Finance, Digital, Front office, Operations, Trading, etc.) are building their own data product suite and leveraging the data families produced and maintained by others. The platform offers Data Pipeline industrialization, Data Science, Exploration, Visualization for our internal customers and other AXA Entities.
As a Data Analyst for Data Product Factory, you will be responsible for providing a functional and technical analysis to the developers, liaising with the Data & Analytics Management team. With the tech leads, you will leverage those projects to transform strategically our Master Data Management (MDM) for AXA IM, i.e. modernizing, simplifying our processes and tech components, enhance the Data Referential Families (Instruments, Products and Portfolios, Indices, Forex, Third Parties...). You will participate to the definition and delivery of our product vision and features deliveries. You will interact closely with Data Management Evolution Team to deliver value to our customers. Your squad will be composed of a Product Owner, 4 Data Analysts, 11 Data Engineers and 2 Dev Ops Engineers.
The Data Analyst might also assist the Product Owner in building the entire product life cycle, including user needs gathering, market trend analysis, product trajectory, build, transition to support, operations, continual improvement, and decommissioning.
Your role and responsibilities will include
- Act as a Data Analyst for Data Referential, you will:
- Analyse business context and problem statement, agree on acceptance criteria for strategic and BAU projects.
- Write data referential requirements.
- Define the path to deliver the best business outcome via POCs and MVPs
- Guide developers in implementing data referential features for our internal customers.
- Test the solution implemented by the developers.
- Transform and simplify our current architecture.
- Collaborate with the end client and other technical teams on its implementation.
- Interact with the support teams to exchange on new implementations or production issues.
You will also work alongside our Business and your squad to:
- Influence and implement the 3-year plan product vision, strategy, and features.
- Participate to the Data Model & Data Quality definition.
- Agree on solution and impact on their usage of the data.
- Influence, prioritisation and high-level delivery strategy.
- Leverage our Data Platform Core team and partner with our Neoxam vendor to develop our MDM.
- Highlight optimisation through constant feedback loops involving all actors of the value chain.
- Influence towards tackling technical depth, testing automation, software industrialisation.
Engage with various representatives, demonstrate the ability to understand the business concepts and Operational Data Management, Operational security. Translate these into your feature designs and business outcomes.

Your qualifications and experience:
- Data Driven person with an ambition to drive the data agenda at AXAIM.
- Strong experience in Business Analysis
- Experience in the financial services industry (Asset Management or Investment Banking) specifically around Data Referential (Instruments, Products, Counterparties,...).
- Strong experience in Agile Scrum and SAFE & Product building
- Experienced in technology deliveries in the Cloud (Azure preferred).
- Ability to communicate effectively with business representatives and technology staff.
- Ability to articulate and promote our product strategy and its features.
- Ability to influence peers in both the business and technology.
- Ability to say no.
- Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps principles.
- Understanding of Operational excellence around Production environment, disaster recovery and monitoring.
