**Overview [Business/Role Specific Description]**
- You will sit within the EU Credit Trading desk in Paris and will be operationally integrated to our London teams. The desk’s main activity comprises market making and carrying inventory of Investment Grade Bonds.
- The Desk primarily trades with large institutional investors. The traders are supported by an integrated desk analyst team which manages and analyzes risks and generates trade ideas to facilitate customer demand.
- The desk is looking for someone to take on trading responsibilities in the Investment Grade Trading team.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Pricing, trading and risk managing a securities book
- Taking responsibility for providing liquidity and recycling risk profitably
- Taking responsibility for developing and enhancing the European Flow Credit franchise
- Analyzing market structure and the opportunities and threats there-in
- Managing financial risk and non-financial risks
- Interacting with clients, sales and internal counterparties in other trading, coverage and structuring functions to increase market transparency and to generate new business
- Assist the team in daily tasks and ensure the functioning of the pod from an IT and administrative perspective

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- We are looking for an Analyst/Associate level trader.
- Preferably demonstrates a first relevant experience in credit through an internship or a first job.
- Knowledge of credit fundamentals (credit pricing, credit liquidity, credit derivatives, type of investors).
- Being detail oriented, naturally inquisitive, and consistently striving for self-education.
- Displaying innovation as part of a market-leading team with the end goal of developing the business/franchise and generate profit.
