Tasks
**Your role**:
As the Global Safety CoE Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating and animating various safety initiatives, trainings, and programs across Segments and Regions. You will collaborate closely with the Symrise ONE Safety Team, providing expertise and support to enable locations in achieving occupational safety excellence. Your key responsibilities include:
- Animate the Safety CoE governance, in close coordination with the Symrise Safety Leadership team.
- Coordinate the Global safety trainings/curriculum program, aligned with the Symsafe Roadmap.
- Coordinate the Technical Support program for common high-risk operations across locations.
- Manage the cross Segments/Regions safety efficiency enabling projects & Global data/reporting process.
- Administer the Global safety software & KPIs consolidation.
- Coordinate Global safety tools & processes and maintain Symrise's Occupational Management system up to date.
- Coordinate the Safety best practices & lessons learned program.
- Provide technical support to Segments/Regions on defining CAPA related to safety incidents.
- Provide expertise to locations on industrial hygiene, fire prevention, process safety, and hazardous substances management.
**Requirements**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
You must hold a Graduated/Master's degree in safety, environmental, or a relevant discipline, and possess a several years of experience in occupational safety, preferably within the food, pharma, or automotive industries. Previous experience in Global roles supporting multiple Regions & Sites is essential. Excellent communication and auditing skills are required, as well as a hands-on and collaborative approach.
Your demonstrated experience in developing and implementing safety tools, programs, and trainings aligned with organizational goals & strategies will be critical to success. In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, industry best practices, and international standards is highly valued. Proficiency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of additional languages such as French, Spanish, German, or others is a plus. Flexibility for up to 50% international travel is required for this position.
