Sr Demand Planner

Permanent Position

**Main Purpose of role**:
For a given product category:

- Main responsibility is to maintain the Consensus Forecast at the product reference on a rolling 12 to 24-month basis
- Work with BU Marketing to identify the products to be forecasted and convert Annual Forecasts into phased forecasts, based on release dates and promotions
- Work with BU Sales to use customer plans and input into forecasting tools
- Responsibility for maintaining forecast and requisitions of product assortment waves (WWDP) based on requirements from Sales & Marketing
- Ensure compliance with the global forecasting calendar
- Liaise with EU Regional Planners
- Liaise with Hub Supply planner to proactively communicate demand changes impacting inventory and service
- Track the forecast accuracy, identify the root cause of forecasting error and work on an improvement plan with the Sales & Marketing team

**Specific Responsibilities/ Tasks**:

- Collect and challenge Sales and Market Intelligence for input into Forecast
- Attend and drive the local SAR/S&OP meeting
- Generate reports required for the local SAR/S&OP meetings
- Ensure accurate monthly phasing of Fcst
- Update the new Fcst numbers into the forecasting system
- Manage the deviation of monthly Actual Sales vs Forecast and perform corrective action and maintenance, with a focus on quarter-end
- Ensure Forecast loading respects Global and European (HSA) deadlines
- Ensure to be always up to date on software changes (APS, ERP for Key transactions)
- Animate forecast accuracy meeting with Sales & Marketing

**Qualifications Required**:

- _ A degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, business administration or technical studies will be an advantage_

**Experience Required**:

- Highly skilled in demand planning and inventory management (5 years+)
- Experience in working with Business / Sales teams
- Experience in international matrix environments
- Experience in industries most mature in demand and inventory planning (automotive, FMCG)
- Proficient with, SCM tools, ERP (SAP ECC), PowerBI and Microsoft Excel
