Warehouse Operations Coordinator

**Key Responsibilities:Warehouse Operations**:

- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensures operational delivery targets for the team are met through appropriate resource, people and risk management, escalating issues and trends, where appropriate to the Senior Operations Manager.
- Ensure accurate inventory control and implement stock management systems.
- Manage warehouse layout to optimise space and operational efficiency.
- Supervise warehouse team members, ensuring adherence to company policies and performance standards.
- Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

**People Management & Leadership**:

- Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training where necessary.
- Drive engagement and motivation within the team, ensuring high morale and productivity.

**Compliance & Reporting**:

- Ensure all warehouse activities comply with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records for audits, quality assurance, and operational reporting.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports on warehouse efficiency.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in warehouse operations management, preferably in a warehousing or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of inventory control, supply chain logistics, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Familiarity with lean warehouse management and efficiency-improvement methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehousing.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field.
- Forklift certification or experience managing warehouse equipment.
- Experience in sustainable and eco-friendly warehousing practices.
