About Your team
Join our R&D department located in Paris and enter an environment where you will create new
algorithms, concepts, and products in the big data landscape.
We are a team of 35 back end, front end and full stack engineers, focused on code quality and
innovation. Your contributions will speed up the queries thanks to new algorithms, add new types of
computations to help our customers build complex indicators, reduce the memory usage, simplify our
public APIs, etc.

The Role
and also to test, improve and maintain any software that is already in place.
Software Engineers are people who love to write code and tackle complex problems. They start as
individual contributors, and aspire to become highly qualified engineers who:

- master the technical aspects of one or more ActiveViam products,
- share their knowledge with other R&D engineers,
- develop a global vision of the ecosystem the products evolve in.

Key Duties

- Know parts of the codebase very well

- Possess creativity and out-of-the-box thinking
- Has passion for innovation paired with technical expertise

**Profile**:

- Graduated from a top-10 engineering school
- Proven programming skills with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, Rust with

object-oriented design
- Good analytical and communication skills

Ideally, you also have:

- 2+ year of professional software development experience
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability
