**About the job**

As a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Coordinator at RHI Magnesita, you will oversee operations at our Valenciennes plant. In this role, you will monitor and coordinate all HSE topics. Your primary responsibility will be to elevate workplace safety through the strategic planning, implementation, and upkeep of plant HSE policies and guidelines. Working in close collaboration with relevant authorities and institutions, you will advise plant management on standards, laws, and effective measures. Leveraging your expertise in occupational HSE, you will establish essential conditions by effectively implementing relevant tools and measures. Additionally, your role will encompass the conception and support of training initiatives for both managers and employees.

**Your tasks will include**
- Inspecting the facilities to identify safety, health, and environmental risks
- Acting as the principal communicator with the governmental environmental service (DREAL)
- Promotion of adherence to occupational safety at the sites
- Recording and follow-up of measures
- Ensuring that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed

En qualité de Coordinateur Hygiène, Sécurité et Environnement (HSE) chez RHI Magnesita, vous aurez la responsabilité de superviser les opérations de notre usine à Valenciennes. Dans ce rôle, vous dirigerez et coordonnerez tous les aspects relatifs à la santé, à la sécurité et à l'environnement. Votre mission principale consistera à renforcer la sécurité au travail par le biais d'une planification stratégique, de la mise en œuvre et de la mise à jour des politiques et des directives HSE de l'usine. Travaillant en étroite collaboration avec les autorités et les institutions compétentes, vous conseillerez la direction de l'usine sur les normes, les lois et les mesures efficaces. Vous établirez des conditions essentielles en mettant en œuvre de manière efficiente des outils et des mesures pertinents. De plus, votre rôle inclura la conception et le soutien d'initiatives de formation à destination tant des cadres que des employés.
