Mission

Define, in alignment with the HQ’s Wholesale Manager’s strategies and guidelines, the commercial objectives to be achieved and the strategy to be followed within the wholesale channel (Core Business, D-Shop, Department stores) and the geography under his/her responsibility.

You will be responsible for the commercial development of your area and to build a strong relationship with your key accounts, by negotiating commercial agreements and fostering a long-lasting and profitable relationship that enable the expansion and awareness of Desigual's brand and profitability within the Wholesale channel.

Define and ensure the implementation of commercial policies and procedures, in compliance with Desigual's strategic goals, setting budgets and goals to be achieved by the teams, ensuring their proper performance during the sell-in and sell-out processes and maintaining a fluid interaction with other involved Areas and Departments.

Manage a tight follow-up on a corporate team located in different showrooms within France and ensure goals and strategies are applied and reached.

Key Responsabilities

**Commercial strategy development**: Ensure the implementation of the Wholesale Department strategy defined by the HQ Channel Manager by planning and developing the commercial strategy within the Area/s under your responsibility, continuously analysing it and adapting it according to the performance of the assigned channel (Core business, D-Shop, Department stores), identifying needs of your market, opportunities and improvement areas. All of that with the aim of expanding Desigual's brand worldwide in a growth-focused and consistent way in order to generate revenues. Prioritise the markets in which Desigual's should operate, clients to work with and collections to be presented to customers.

**Policies and procedures definition**: Adjust the commercial policies, procedures and tools to implement within the Area under your responsibility, establishing the objectives and budgets for the Area.

Manage and ensure the proper implementation of the sell-in (order sales planning, budget negotiation and follow-up) and sell-out (post-sales operations, order repetitions, perform visits to clients to follow-up, etc.) processes. Evaluate, design, monitor and modify internal processes in order to optimise the performance of the Area and ensure sales.

**Team management**: Provide thought leadership, guidance and support to the team members, assigning responsibilities as appropriate and ensuring the flow of necessary information and communication. Set and monitor staff performance and development goals, assessing their compliance. Identify and develop talent, ensuring the necessary training, development and motivation. Ensure that teams are aligned and work in a coordinated and collaborative way with internal and external teams.

**Key account management**: Manage key accounts by negotiating commercial terms with them, maintaining and expanding relationships with customers and fostering profitable relations with them. Identify business opportunities and initiate corrective measures when necessary.

Foster prospection and search for new clients that responds to Desigual new strategies.

Bring visibility and information to HQ teams in order to identify needs and opportunities in your market, as well as participate in channels meetings sharing with several regions your results and point of views.

**Coordinate with other areas/departments**: Coordinate and interact with other Areas/Departments for the proper performance of the Channel in order to ensure sales (Product, Supply Chain, etc.). Perform an active listening of other channels, optimising services and exerting continuo
