That’s why we’re looking for a Wholesale Marketing Manager - Pan-European Accounts who can deliver campaigns that will help us deliver our ambitious growth targets.**

**The role**

The role is based in Paris HQ and reports into the Senior Channel Marketing Manager for Europe.

We are looking for a Pan-European marketing expert working across multiple markets and relevant nuances with strategic accounts (La Redoute/Galeries Lafayette/El Corte Ingles/ Sarenza/Humanic, Salamander, Printemps etc)

Experience with Pureplayers would be a plus (Amazon, Zalando, About You, Boozt etc).

Be the European Marketing custodian to help Clarks empower everyone with the freedom to move comfortably.

You’ll lead and deliver the Wholesale Marketing plan of our European markets (France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Benelux). You’ll define customer experience, segmentation and integrated marketing communications, messaging and campaign content across sell-in and sell-through. You’ll also plan and allocate Trade and Wholesale budget spends in excess of £1m to drive brand moments and seasonal growth opportunities. And all of it measured for ROI and reported on as part of a data-enriched, evidence-based approach.

Being economically prudent, however, doesn’t mean you’ll need to be cautious in your approach to marketing generally. There’s a serious appetite for innovative wholesale digital marketing campaigns that will enable Clarks to stand out, so you’ll have license to be bold and brave. When you present your ideas to stakeholders and your collaborators across the organisation, that’s what they’ll want to see.

Wholesale is the largest channel by revenue for the European region at nearly 80% of our overall Net Turnover. The WHS Marketing Manager role is critical to our success in this channel based on the relationships they create, both internally and externally and by the programs they develop to support the sell in and sell through via our largest pan-European key/ strategic accounts.

**About you**

You’ll have significant experience in wholesale or trade marketing where you delivered demonstrable success for a global or pan-European consumer brand. Ideally, you’ll also have a relevant degree or equivalent experience in footwear, fashion or accessories markets. When it comes to managing marketing campaigns, you’ll have the whole process covered—from briefing to stakeholder management and delivery.

You’ll have an energetic, credible and open-minded approach to campaign delivery and be able to put new and creative ideas into action to deliver results.
