You can handle sensitive information with confidentiality. - ** Problem Solver at Heart**:You are analytical, resourceful, and an independent thinker who can produce significant output with mínimal wasted effort. - ** Strong Organization and Planning**:You are detail-oriented and can plan, organize, schedule, and budget efficiently and productively. **What you'll be doing**: - Provide timely responses to daily billing inquiries via **Zendesk**, delivering exceptional customer service and swift issue resolution. - Process a high volume of purchase orders and generate accurate invoices through **Stripe**, maintaining efficiency and precision. - Manage tax exemption certificates in **Avalara** to ensure compliance with tax regulations across various jurisdictions. - Identify, develop, and implement efficient billing procedures within **Stripe** for B2C customers, enhancing overall workflow. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline billing processes and address any discrepancies or challenges. - Generate month-end reports for receivables and collections, analyzing data to improve aged receivables through strategic follow-ups. - Handle customer refunds and credit calculations tailored to internal team needs. - Participate in ad hoc projects, including system implementations and user acceptance testing. **What you bring to the table**: - 1+ years of experience in a customer service and data entry role. - Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. - Experience with **NetSuite** & **Stripe** is considered a plus. - Strong customer service experience, with a keen focus on problem-solving. - Exceptional oral and written communication skills. - Attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong team player with a "can-do" attitude and a passion for excellence. - Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate apps and software. **What you can expect from our interview process**: - ** Introductory calls**:We will set up a phone call with our Accounts Receivable Manager, during which you’ll have the opportunity to share more about your experience and interests. You’ll also learn more about BioRender and the team you’re interviewing with. - ** Practical interview**:You’ll be completing a practical exercise so we can see your skills in action and give you a realistic role preview of some role responsibilities. This exercise will be conducted with our Accounts Receivable Manager. - ** Work history interview**:This is a conversational interview with two members of our Finance team.
