**Overall Purpose of The Job**
- Management of operational requirements for Cruise vessels to achieve the desired standard of service and product delivery as agreed with our clients.
Ensuring that managed vessels acquire all necessary materials, equipment, supportive services, and qualified manpower required to achieve consistent levels of service and product delivery on board, within the given budgetary guidelines.
Supervises operational efficiency, overall product delivery and the compliance with standard operating procedures.**Key Responsibilities and Tasks**
- Manages day-to-day operational requirements onboard Cruise vessels, including product delivery, compliance with standard operating procedures and client requirements
- Ensures adherence to and compliance with all relevant instructions and procedures
- Assists the Associate Director of Operations Cruise & Offshore in conducting performance reviews with all team members, as per Group guidance
- Ensures that SMART objectives set for you and the team are prioritised and met
- Overseas daily activities and ensures that subordinates adhere to company standards
- Responsible for the appropriate preparation of financial budgets, forecasts, and estimates, as required by the Associate Director of Operations
- Develops and implements standards, policies and procedures when needed
- Communicates inter-office issues as required
- Tackles and assists the Associate Director of Operations, Cruise & Offshore with issues pertaining to the provided service
- Oversees the onboard Hotel Operations departments, including F&B, Provisions, Guest Services, and Housekeeping to ensure an exceptional guest experience and satisfaction and reports to the Head of Operations, Cruise & Offshore
- Monitors daily documentation and reporting
- Ensures standards and requirements are met by conducting periodic assessments and preparing corresponding reports
- Develops productive relationships with all parties involved and provides constant and consistent communication and reporting to the senior management
- Participates in on-site visits and inspections. Prepares finding reports and communicates project-related issues and resolutions to line managers
- Identify staffing needs and potential supervisors / managers and training strategies
- Requests approval on internal training whenever necessary
- Liaises with client representatives to identify changes in requirements, additional requests and / or potential blockers and any other issues that might arise
- Advises the Associate Director of Operations, Cruise & Offshore in a timely manner, about any challenges, changing requirements of the project or new requests as the project develops
- Assists the Associate Director of Operations, Cruise & Offshore with carrying out environmental and OHS risk assessments for activities
- Actions operational activities, resources, equipment, and information, as required
- Suggests business development activities to drive new business and penetrate new markets
- Performs any other management related tasks as requested by the Associate Director of Operations, Cruise & Offshore
