The Organic Synthesis Laboratory (LSO) is one of the 23 laboratories of the École Polytechnique research centre. It brings together 6 permanent researchers, two technicians, an administrative manager and around thirty students and post-docs. The activities of the research unit are mainly focused on the discovery and development of innovative synthetic methods.

**Description**:
We are looking for a talented and motivated student, with a strong background in Organic Chemistry, for a 6-month Master 2 internship, starting in February 2025.
The research topic is aimed at developing a new method for the preparation of potentially biologically active beta-carboline derivatives.

**Profil**:
A strong background in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and excellent academic records are preferred.
The student should like experimental work and have a precise, rigorous approach towards science. Ability to work in a team is also important.
