**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the best possible performance and quality of the solutions to be delivered.
- Plan, design, implement and maintain software components which meet the solution requirements.
- Enhance and maintain code quality and automatization.
- Create and maintain appropriate testing strategies.
- Cooperate with and help other developers, including participating in code reviews.
- Work in an agile environment to develop specific customized solutions.
- Integrate various ANSYS tools as well as third party software into the solution to deliver innovative automated simulation workflows.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.

**Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience**:

- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5 years’ experience, MS with 3 years’ experience, or PhD with 1 year experience.
- Experience with software design and development methodologies.
- Deep understanding and practical experience of using Object-oriented languages such as Python or C#.
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience with ANSYS or any other related CAE tool.
- Experience with development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Git and MS Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English.

**Preferred Qualifications and Skills**:

- Good understanding of software architecture patterns and principles.
- Good understanding of Web architecture and Web API such as RESTful or gRPC.
- Experience with Software Development LifeCycle processes, including testing and DevOps practices.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular or React.
- Knowledge of Agile methods.
- Must have passion and drive for personal technical excellence and high performance.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a geographically distributed team.
