Enjoy competitive compensation, flexible working conditions, and equity through our BSPCE stock option plan, all within the vibrant surroundings of Bordeaux, a nexus of culture, viniculture, and coastal life **Role overview**: As our Head of Launch Vehicle, you will be in charge of the development of our flagship project Orbital Baguette One (OB-1), including systems and subsystems development, validation and industrialization leading to serial production of the launch vehicle. This role demands a blend of technical expertise in aerospace systems underpinned by robust leadership and strategic foresight. **Your key responsibilities**: To lead the development up and ensure OB-1's operational success for its inaugural flight, we will entrust you with the following key responsibilities: - Planning and leading the Launch Vehicle development plan, in coordination with internal and external development teams. - Studying and implementing innovative trade-offs to meet the program requirements. - Managing the system engineering team. - Being the focal points for all stakeholders at Launch Vehicle system level. **Who we seek**: You have a solid academic background in engineering or aerospace engineering, with advanced degrees (Master's, double degree, or PhD) and more than 10 years of experience. Your in-depth technical and/or Industrial knowledge of major systems involved in launch vehicle design as well as your demonstrated ability to lead complex projects will bey key to succeed. You are known for a natural leadership style conducive to decision-making in high-stakes environments, and own exceptional skills in cultivating team unity and drive towards innovative solutions, with a knack for navigating and thriving in complex, fast-paced settings.
