Since we opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely, and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale, we saw sellers stymied by disparate, outmoded products and tools that wouldn't work together.

So we expanded into software and started building integrated, omnichannel solutions - to help sellers sell online, manage inventory, offer buy now, pay later functionality, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, and hire and pay staff. Across it all, we've embedded financial services tools at the point of sale, so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. Afterpay furthers our goal to provide omnichannel tools that unlock meaningful value and growth, enabling sellers to capture the next generation shopper, increase order sizes, and compete at a larger scale.

Today, we are a partner to sellers of all sizes - large, enterprise-scale businesses with complex operations, sellers just starting, as well as merchants who began selling with Square and have grown larger over time. As our sellers grow, so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us. **The Role**

Square is looking for an ambitious, optimistic, and results-driven Account Executive to join our Sales team in France.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a commercial strategy to strengthen Square's presence in the French market. You'll work closely with a Business Development Representative (BDR) and our Marketing team to identify and engage high-potential businesses, helping them accelerate their growth with Square.

With a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a problem-solving attitude, you're able to translate customer needs into concrete opportunities. You have a proven track record of negotiating and closing deals with SMB and mid-market clients, and you excel at managing complex sales cycles.

As a brand ambassador for Square, you'll play a key role in driving our growth and building lasting relationships with our clients across France.

**You Will**
- Represent Square to merchants across a wide range of industries (retail, hospitality, services, etc.), highlighting the simplicity and power of our solutions.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth and successful customer journey.
- Achieve and exceed your monthly sales targets through a proactive outbound sales approach.
- Act as a consultative partner, understanding each merchant's challenges, needs, and goals to deliver a tailored solution.
- Collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams to share field insights and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our offerings.
- Leverage your commercial expertise to design and execute an innovative and effective go-to-market strategy.
- Participate in occasional international travel for team events or cross-functional projects.
- Visit merchants in person to strengthen relationships and support their growth.
- Grow your career through ongoing training, mentorship, and real opportunities for professional development.

**You Have**
- 2-3+ years of sales experience, ideally in a B2B or technology environment.
- Fluency in French and an excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- A proven track record in exceeding sales targets
- Solid experience in business development, including prospecting, outbound calls, and closing new clients.
- A strong sense of team spirit and a desire to contribute to collective success.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, especially Salesforce and Salesloft, to efficiently manage your pipeline and opportunities.
