**Responsibilities**

The Medical Science Liaison will establish, cultivate, and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs while developing a strong understanding of clinical practice as it relates to areas of interest. This position also interacts with various inside/outside institutions, departments, study coordinators, clinical research associates and investigators.
- Educate health care providers (HCPs) about the disease state and products, resolving medical information inquiries with virtual and in-person responses to provide the highest level of understanding and customer satisfaction
- Engage with external stakeholders through scientific interactions; deliver support to clinical development colleagues and investigators conducting clinical trials and offer scientific support for internal stakeholders
- Serve as the primary resource to provide support for addressing unsolicited medical questions and other scientific exchange matters Responsible for disseminating appropriate scientific and clinical information to build relationships with site HCPs and personnel
- Identify, gather, and document field-generated scientific insights to drive innovative Medical Affairs strategies while complying with industry and corporate policies and procedures

**Job Requirements**
- Doctorate level scientific degree is preferred (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent)
- Clinical trial experience highly preferred
- Narcolepsy or related therapeutic area experience is highly preferred
- Sleep therapy area experience is required
- Strong ability to present in a virtual capacity; knowledge of virtual video technology required
- Ability to travel and possess a valid driver's license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts, unless otherwise specified
