**About the role**:
As procurement activity is in the heart of Intercloud’s activity, the **Senior Buyer** will play a very important role, acting as the lead of procurement organization, you will be in charge of:
**PROCESSES AND TOOLS**
- Ensure inventory management and proper rotation
- Set up and follow the indicators of team’s activity
- Propose new tools and procedures to improve procurement practices and processes
- Manage the order validation process to ensure the quality and accuracy of the customer orders
- Ensure data quality in the several tools being used

**SUPPLIERS MANAGEMENT**
- Prospect, make calls for tenders and select suppliers capable of meeting the needs of the company
- Negotiate with suppliers the conditions of supply in terms of cost, quality and time
- Build and maintain supplier quality
- Develop long-term relationships with preferred suppliers
- Handle supplier disputes and implement the necessary actions to limit them
- Identify, anticipate, and manage supplier risks
- Work closely with PMO team to ensure the proper routing of goods (equipment/links) until delivery to the departments concerned internally and/or externally

**DAILY OPERATIONS**
- Analyze purchasing and supply needs through Request For Information / Request For Proposals
- Manage order validation process to ensure the quality and accuracy of the orders (PO) sent to the customers
- Work closely with Go to Market team to ensure the quotations are sent on time and with expected quality
- Analyze workflows to continuously improve them

**LEADERSHIP**
- Lead the team of buyers in the daily activity
- Coordinate the team activities helping in the workload balance
- Be the main point of communication about procurement activity internally and externally
