LANDAUER Direct - Product Owner (P.O.)

**About Us**

We are recruiting a **Product Owner (P.O.)** for our LANDAUER Europe SAS subsidiary, based in **Vélizy, France**, overseeing the **EMEA market**.

The P.O. will lead the evolution of **LANDAUER Direct**, our secure web-based platform that enables customers to:

- Administer dosimetry services (e.g., badge assignment, exchanges)
- Track and manage radiation exposure data
- Generate reports for compliance and audits

He will be responsible to manage the Dose transfer in the National Dose Register.

**Job Role**
- Reports directly to the **Marketing Director**:

- Collects **Voice of Customer (VOC)** and identifies key problems to solve
- Analyzes regulatory requirements and **National Dose Register** needs
- Balances **regulatory compliance**, **user experience**, and **technical robustness**:

- Acts as the **voice of the customer** inside the SCRUM team
- Eliminates waste and maximizes development team output to **reduce delivery time**

**Key Competencies**

1. Understanding of Web Technologies
- Familiar with front-end/back-end architecture, APIs, CMS, and responsive design
- Not required to code but must communicate effectively with developers

2. Agile/Scrum Methodology Mastery
- Owns the product backlog and release plans
- Writes user stories and EPICs based on real customer problems
- Leads sprint planning and refinement
- Shares backlog with Sales, Marketing, and IT for feedback
- Tests and comments on prototype and beta versions during SCRUM reviews
- Amends user stories as needed

3. UX & Analytics Awareness
- Advocates for user-centric design and clear UX
- Creates mockups when necessary
- Uses data and insights to drive decisions

**Strategic & Business Alignment**

1. Customer-Centric Thinking
- Deep empathy for radiation safety officers and medical physicists
- Prioritizes usability and accessibility in time-sensitive, high-risk environments

2. Platform Vision Stewardship: Defines a product roadmap aligned with reliability, adoption, and efficiency goals

3. Value-Based Prioritization: Balances usability features with backend performance and regulatory needs

**Communication & Stakeholder Management**

1. Cross-Functional Mediation
- Bridges communication between Support, IT, QA, R&D, and Commercial
- Ensures backlog reflects customer pain points and internal objectives

2. Multilingual, Multinational Collaboration
- Works with diverse teams across Europe (France, Nordics, Netherlands, etc.)
- Prioritizes localization and market-specific features

3. Training & Change Management
- Prepares onboarding materials and release notes
- Assists Sales and Support teams post-launch
- Writes help documentation
- Trains internal teams and collects feedback for future improvements

4. Existing customers and GeoExpansion Projects
- Defines dose transfer workflows
- Specifies obligations to **Nuclear Safety Authorities** and clients
- Partners with IT to manage dose transfer manually if automation isn't ready
- Adapts our services to meet contractual obligations

**Your Profile**
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the **nuclear or medical industry**:

- Fluent in **English and French**:

- Engineering or Master’s degree
- Excellent **analytical** and **synthesis** skills
- Proven **collaborative mindset** and ability to unite teams
- Strong, clear communication with technical and business stakeholders
