Levi Strauss & Co. are looking for a Strategy Intern for the Global Direct-to-Consumer Center of Excellence in our Commercial Organisation. In this role, you will be part of the Global Direct-to-Consumer Strategy, Growth, and Investment team for 3 to 6 months (depending on the structure of your degree).

The team works with the SVP of Global Direct-to-Consumer and the broader Global Direct-to-Consumer organization and commercial clusters to 1) define business strategy, 2) drive projects to implement the strategy and 3) inform other business decisions. The team does this by deploying advanced problem solving and data analysis skills to answer business problems around growth and investment prioritization, and to provide business intelligence on our channels’ performance to the global DTC team and our partners in commercial markets around the world. Levi Strauss is growing rapidly and transforming for an increasingly direct-to-consumer and digital future. This role sits within one of the teams driving those changes.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Strategy, Growth & Investment for Global Direct-to-Consumer, you will be a key player on strategy, growth and investment projects undertaken by the team. Together with the rest of the team, you will help structure ambiguous problems, develop project plans and execute against those plans to advise senior level colleagues and ensure smooth roll-out of capability deployment. About the Job:

- You will collaborate with your team on a wide range of quantitative and qualitative problems, leading with hypothesis, and building through to applicable advice
- You will perform sophisticated - but right-sized - analytics to support projects in topics relevant to the DTC ecosystem and sporadically to the broader Commercial organization

About you:

- You have some experience in high quality strategy work, through internships in strategy houses or in in-house strategy teams or relevant functions
- You hold at least a B.A./B.Sc./B.Eng. An advanced degree in relevant topics is preferred
- You enjoy qualitative and quantitative problem-solving
- You are a wiz at Excel and quick to learn new methods of data extraction and analysis
- Your working knowledge of accounting enhances financial analysis for strategic decision making
- You are highly collaborative and enjoy building to win-win outcomes through strong relationships balanced with a well informed and robust understanding of the topics at-hand
- You are fluent in English, and maybe another European language too
