**Your Mission**

We are looking for an intern to join the international finance team at BlaBlaCar. The team's mission is to ensure accurate, transparent, and compliant financial management while supporting informed decision-making within the company. As international financial controller intern, your role will be to support the team on the daily activities, support financial reporting, conduct financial analysis and get involved in a wide range of projects. You will be reporting to the International finance manager and working with a team of 3 people.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Process invoices, handling payments, and managing financial records for our international entities (Brazil, Spain & Italy)
- Support during monthly closing for international entities, prepare and analyze intercompany reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and provide support to financial controllers on specific ad hoc projects.

**Your qualifications**:
- Student to obtain a Master's degree in Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in basic accounting principles, including understanding debits and credits, financial transactions, and familiarity with financial statements
- Strong skills in using Microsoft Excel/GSheets for data analysis and financial reports. This includes knowledge of functions, formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation
- Effective communication abilities and good interpersonal skills
- Full working proficiency in English

- Nice to have:
- Experience in treasury and Kyriba knowledge
